Outer layer of the skin shows when disabled until you go into third person

Outer layer of the skin shows until you go into third person, even though the outer layer is off.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Use a double-layer skin and its outer layer should be visible
2. At least turn off Left Sleeve, Right Sleeve of the skin in Skin Customization
   The outer layers do not disappear
3. Press F5 to toggle perspective and the outer layer will disappear once you go back into first person
4. Reload resource packs (F3 + T)
   The outer layers appear again
5. Press F5 to toggle perspective and the outer layer will disappear once you go back into first person

Observed result:
When the outer layer of a double skin is off, the outer layer stays until you go into third person. Reloading resource packs causes the outer layer to appear again.

Expected result:
When the outer layer of a double skin is off, it should not be shown.
