Doors underwater have gaps at their edges

while I was playing modded minecraft, i noticed all of the doors i placed down had gaps at their edges. I thought it was some of my mods so i disabled them all and the doors still had gaps at their edges. this also happens in the following versions: 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21
