Minecart placement causes entity eoss and invisible items

When placing multiple minecart on the same rail it will only place 1 entity, and depending on if you're in creative or survival when placing the minecarts, it will either (if placed in creative) drop 1 minecart causing item loss, or (if placed in survival) it will drop the same amount as placed except they will all be invisible in the inventory except one.
