In creative mode, using ctrl+q results in duplication of the discarded item

When you open a GUI in creative mode and press ctrl+q, the itemstack is duplicated when it is thrown out. This seems to be slightly inconsistent if thrown out too quickly, but for the most part it duplicates in any GUI when pressing ctrl+q in creative mode
