Creative Search Items tab - digit takes priority over special characters

When typing in creative inventory search items with Shift+key and hovering over inventory slot or item in menu, digit takes priority over special characters

This is disorienting when trying to quickly search for item tags like #log

Expected Result

When typing Shift+3 "#" is entered

Actual Result

When typing Shift+3 hovered over item is put into slot 3

Steps to Reproduce

1. open creative inventory in the search items tab
2. make sure to hover over an item in the menu
3. try typing Shift+3, nothing is entered into the search bar, instead you replace the slot 3 with the hovered item
4. make sure you do not hover over any item and then repeat step 3., now the character is entered into the search box
