Command Has Errors with Chestplates

To enchant a chest plate with this command: enchant @p 0 2

It tells me there's no enchantment with id 0

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hold a diamond chestplate
2. type in enchant @p(or a playername) 0 4
3. It sais enchantment id 0 doesn't exist
