could not find a <biome_name> within reasonable distance.

Hello, 

when i try and use any code to locate any biomes i get a message like this:
"could not find a <biome_name> within reasonable distance."
 
I have tried other methods like typing:

/locate <biome_name>

but all this gets me an error response.

what should i type to get the location of another biome?
