Messages sent while in a bed won't be remebered in sent history

How to repeat...

In chat say "This is text"
Set time to night
Get in a bed
While in bed type "Hello world"
Wait for it to become day
Open the chat and hit up x1
it should say "/set time night"
press up one more time
it will say "This is text"
As you can see it ignores the message sent while in the bed

I saw 2 other similar bug reports but they were marked as RESOLVED when this issue is still active in the latest version of minecraft (1.6.2)
