Exit Code 1 always showing up

I changed the resolution of my game using the in-game graphics options menu, and I bumped it up to 1440, which is the same as my monitor, and Minecraft immediately crashed. I tried restarting Minecraft several times, and it keeps giving me Exit Code 1, even after updating my computers graphics drivers and scaling down the game's resolution within the launcher menu.
