Minecraft disconnects monitor

Alt-tabbing into a fullscreened 1.21 instance causes my monitor to black out and disconnect until I alt-tab out. This bug affects vanilla and modded and started out as my screen temporarily blacking out when I alt-tab in or out but then progressed to my monitor disconnecting completely. I only experience this bug with Minecraft.

Edit: This bug does not only apply to alt-tabbing but also simply clicking on the open window in my taskbar.

Edit 2: Running the game through the MultiMC launcher works just fine for some reason.
