/transfer command fails when executed from a command block

The recently introduced /transfer command fails to execute when triggered by a command block.

Here is the error that the command block gives when trying to run this command:

[17:39:19] transfer exampleserver.net 25565<–-[HERE]

 

The command runs fine when executed from the chat, but fails when executed from a command block.
