i have an issue in minecraft at breaking wood blocks

I'm facing an issue with Minecraft where wooden blocks take a long time to break with an axe, almost as slow as punching them. I've updated the game to the latest version and restarted it, but the problem persists. I'm using a diamond axe on oak wood blocks, and I don't have any status effects. There's no lag on the server as I can break other items without any issues. This problem is happening to all players on my server.
