+DATA tag is *not* visible on items with data

Edit: this is not a bug (it would be great if there was a +DATA tag){}

also I have no clue how to delete a post

 

Previously, when copying a chest and its contents to the inventory, a tag was visible that said +NBT

Now, in 1.21, when you hold control key and click on the chest with middle mouse button, it copies the chest and it's contents, but no +DATA, or +NBT tag is visible when hovering over the item.

How to reproduce:
1. Place an item in a chest
2. Hold control and click down the mouse wheel (or hit middle mouse button on whatever you are using)
3. Hover over the item to see no +DATA or +NBT tag

 

The barrel in the image is the one that contains the chest
