New attribute modifiers component doesn´t work

When i tried to create an item with attribute modifiers, it failed, even when i used the example from the changelog website, my command:

/give RUNECromex netherite_boots[attribute_modifiers={modifiers:[type:'minecraft:generic.scale',uuid:[1,2,3,4],name:'Big!',amount:1.0,operation:'add_multiplied_base']}]

What the game tells me is wrong:

Exspected `]` at position 69: ...iers:[type<–[HERE]

As you can see in my command, i use the exact example for attribute modifiers as from the changelog and not even that works. The only aspect i changed was making it an actual give command and putting it in square brackets so that the game realizes that i am using a component.
