I can't join servers in the newer versions

I bought minecraft last week and I can't join any servers in versions post 1.8.9. Not even hypixel, but in the 1.8.9 I can. The servers are constantly searching por conexion and if I try to enter it just says "Disconected". I'm from Spain, so it says "Desconectado". I've tried to reinstall the launcher and close it and log in again, but it doen't work. My wi-fi conexion works just fine and I don't know what else to do.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. I haven't done anything to make it happen, since I bought it I can't enter any server.

Observed Results:
It just says "Desconectado", as you can see in the screenshot.

Expected Results:
I shold be able to join the server.
