MC-272741

The sounds for using a brush always emanate from the center of a block

This issue relates to MC-269379, MC-172739, and MC-189857. When using a brush on a block, the sound always plays from the center of the block, while particles accurately spawn where you aim. Notably, fireworks, which do not always spawn at the center of a block when spawned by firework items (though entities from spawn eggs do), play sounds at the expected position rather than always from the block's center. You might need headphones to reproduce this issue if you cannot precisely determine the sound's origin, as subtitles do not accurately indicate the direction.

Steps to reproduce

  1. /execute align xyz run tp @s ~ ~ ~ ~ 90
  2. Obtain a brush
  3. Use a brush and rotate around
  4. Aim at different blocks without moving from your position
  5. Pay close attention to the direction from which you hear the sound

Observed result: The sound always plays from the center of the block, as indicated by it sometimes coming from the right and sometimes from the left.
Expected result: The sound should play from the location where the particles are spawned.
