Pressing A and D on a boat causes the held item to lower and prevents its use, despite not showing the rowing animation

This relates to MC-96205, which was fixed in the fantastic 1.11 exploration update. While the fix has eliminated the rowing animation when pressing A and D in a boat, it still lowers the hand and held items (often unseen) and inhibits item usage.

Steps to reproduce

1. Place a boat
2. Mount it
3. Hold an item with a right click action in your hand (e.g. a trident)
4. Press A and D
5. Try to use the item

Observed: The item moves downward and becomes unusable.
Expected: In first person, the item should not move downward and remain usable, as you're not rowing the boat.
