I am unable to get the Local brewery advancement

I brewed several batches of fire resistance and weakness potions but never got the advancement. I wondered if the chat message wasn't working and checked the advancement UI, where it was confirmed that I didn't have the advancement. I am confident I didn't do anything wrong, so any info would help.
