canot break blocks

After changing to creative mode and then back to adventure mode, i can't break any blocks  anymore? I tried changing to creative again and then it works fine also in survival, but changing back to adventure then i cant ? I can look around and open chests but not break or change anything

I loaded another world and there it works fine, but in my favorite world I cannot do anything anymore.. please help
