Inventory, crafting and everything like that is bugged

So the problem isnt for me but my friend, hes inventory and crafting doesnt work properlly. Like he tries to pick up something in his inventory the item goes not on your mouse but like above it and when crafting you cant press right click and put items like that he needs to pick up 1 item put it in the crafting tabble then pick up another one and do the same thing. We thought something is wrong with his keybinds but when we reseted it, it was the same. I dont know how to fix this and my friend has had this since 1.20.4 and we thought the update will fix it but it didnt please help my friend with this his username on minecraft: VivaceFrog02160
