Minecraft server authentication

hello so recently i bought minecraft, and before the purchase I was using Tlauncher, when I logged onto Minecraft launcher and decided to play hypixal, it wouldn't let me join saying "failed to authenticate, please try again" and I have been trying things myself to solve it before posting it here, so I also tried the modirnth app to play, then lunar client, nothing so I need some assistance
