Player model's legs dont line up with torso

the player's legs do not line up properly to the torso

I know there was a post about this before, and I tested moving the legs apart (to how it should look), via mods, and there is zero z-fighting, if anything, there's more z-fighting with them pushed together 

if this is such a big deal, why isn't the head, or arms pushed in?
