Can't strip copper blocks or logs while holding Shield in offhand

This issue does not happen when using hoes to till dirt, or shovels to create paths.

How to Reproduce:
1. Equip a axe in your main hand, and shield in your offhand.
2. Attempt to strip wood or copper blocks.
