Ender Pearls don't play hand animation when spammed

The Bug

Probably a lag-related issue. See my pinned comment below.

When holding down the use (right-click by default) key to use an ender pearl in Creative mode, it sometimes does not play the hand animation, instead leaving it static.

How to Reproduce

Note: If you cannot reproduce the issue, save and quit the world, and then rejoin.

1. Hold down the use (right-click) button on ender pearls while in Creative mode.
2. Note how sometimes the hand animation will not play, instead staying static.
