Whenever I try to connect to a server I get the error message below. Failed to connect to the server Failed to log in: The authentication servers are currently not reachable. Please try again.

I have been referred here by Technical support. I have seen the other bug report made, but the helpers said that it was not meant for here.
Whenever I try to connect to a server I get the error message below.

I've researched online but I don't use any unofficial software and my hosts list is completely blank aside from the commented out lines that have #'s. I've tried restarting my computer, rebooting my router, logging out of my minecraft account and logging back in.
I only have an Ethernet connection. This is a last ditch effort to get help. If I am not heped, please give Minecraft back to the old owners, it was much better back then.
