Iron Golems do not drop any loot in renewed realm

I am playing on a world that was made on 1.16 but has been updated with every release. I typically renew the world through realms however on 1.20.6 iron golems will not drop any loot. I have tried killing golems that spawn in villages, killing them from my farm, and spawning them in, but they never drop any loot.
