Crafting is broken in this game! (24w18a)

I upgraded my experimental 1.20.4 world to 24w18a and now the crafting is broken. I can't really say it any other way, and there's probably definitely someone else who has reported this. When you craft something in survival mode, this happens... (there's a video attachment)
