Smite decreases damage to skeletons and zombies

Basically if you enchant your weapons with Smite, you can't deal damage to skeletons and zombies as I tested so far.

I went in Trial Chambers and my wolves were dealing damage successfuly but I couldn't deal damage much, when I switched to weapons that don't have Smite, I was able to deal damage back.
