count nbt can't go to zero

In minecraft 1.20.4 if you set the "count" of an item to zero, the item will be deleted/(his id will become air) and that allow to delete items by the reduction of their "count".

In minecraft 1.20.5 this is't working.

If i tries to change the "count" to zero it become 1 and now i need to make a command to check if the "count" is 1 and kill/delete the entity/item.
