Breaking the top half of vertical multi-blocks does not produce particles for the bottom half

Breaking the upper section of vertical multi-blocks doesn't generate particles for the lower half. This applies to blocks such as doors, double tall grass, rose bushes, small dripleaf, and others, my dear. Breaking the lower half of vertical multi-blocks does indeed produce particles for the upper half, just as expected, my dear.
