Resource Packs aren't showing up in Minecraft

Firstly, I'm playing on a mac. As you can see with the attached picture, my resource (texture) pack is in the resource folder in .zip and unzipped form. However the texture pack is not recognized by the minecraft. I've tried using magic launcher and mcpatcher. Neither made a difference.
