Slow axe mining (Experimental 1.21 features)

When trying to mine wooden blocks etc. with an axe it is way to slow.

Have tried to replicate it on a local server, singleplayer (with experimental 1.21 features) and singleplayer without.

Both the server and the singleplayer worlds with experimental 1.21 features have this problem.

I have in both worlds included a datapack that only enables me to use the crafter in survival. 

All 3 tests was made in 1.20.4
