\n is ineffective on the death screen

Using \n to display death messages doesn't create a new line on the death screen. However, it functions properly in the chat. Relates to MC-269671.

Steps to reproduce

1. Download the provided resource pack.
2. Meet demise in lava

Observed: The death message appears as a single line, whereas in the chat, it is appropriately separated.
Expected: The death screen should display two lines, mirroring the format in the chat.
