Advancements keep resetting

Periodically, upon login I will receive several advancements at once. When checking my list of advancements, I see it has been reset and only current ones apply.

For example, I have been using iron pickaxes and iron armor. Upon login, I received the 'Suit Up' advancement, but as I did not have any iron pickaxes in my inventory at the time, the 'Isn't it Iron Pick' advancement is now marked as incomplete.
