Ender pearl xray bug

So I was in the nether searching for bugs in 1.20.4 and I found a very weird and strange bug, basically if you're on the corner of any block underground and you shoot an ender pearl you can see the entire underground and all of the blocks and chests, so basically its like the Xray resource pack. And I do believe its a bug so I'll try and figure out how to fix it, but i also think an update may do the trick. Thanks!
