Common Keyboard Shortcute Glitches Every Text Box

When pressing Ctrl + A while in a text box, anywhere in the game, whether it be in the "Add Server" screen, in a server chat box, or in a single-player world chat box, the screen proceeds to glitch out with flashes and everything is unable to be interacted with.
