Sharpness on a mace does not affect damage IF player is falling

Sharpness works normally if the player hits or crits on the ground, however does nothing when falling.

To Recreate:

1. Get a sharpness 5 mace and a non enchanted mace
2. Build 20 and 19 blocks in the air
3.  Spawn Ravager Below
4. WALK off platform at 20 blocks and hit with regular mace - it should kill
5. Respawn Ravager
6. WALK off platform at 19 blocks and hit with sharpness 5 mace - does not kill
