Unable to exchange armor by right-clicking if the held item and the item in the armor slot are identical.

The resolution of MC-216270 enables swapping the armor held in your hand with the currently worn armor by right-clicking. However, this functionality fails to operate when the two items are identical (with all NBT/Component data matching, like durability, enchantments, custom name). Only when a change occurs in one item's data, such as durability, can the pieces be swapped successfully. Attempting to swap two identical armor pieces results in no hand animation or sound feedback. It appears that the item usage isn't executed at all, but instead, it attempts to use the item in your offhand.
