Tools and weapons doesn't deal right ammount of damage

When I went to my world I noticed, that my sword deals a lot less damage, than it should. I thought I just need to make a backup and load my world to the previous version, but my items disappeared, when I came to my world. Luckily I made save of my world, but if I didn't, I would have lost all of my work under my world.
