Wind Charge fall damage preserved whilst falling into water

When using the Wind Charge on yourself from fall damage height, the fall damage is preserved if you land in water, vines, webs, ladders, etc., likely due to the attribute of the Wind Charge preserving the height at which you fell from to apply fall damage, though I cannot be certain of the cause (excuse the zoomed in recording, I had it set up to record something else and forgot about it)
