Pufferfish kills through boat

Pufferfish just kill me through boat!
The puffer fish shouldn't have killed me.
He was able to damage me through the boat. Where is the logic?
Bug
1. Go by boat
2. Swim to the pufferfish
3. To be killed miraculously by a puffer fish through a wooden boat
Please fix this, the player's hitbox is sticking out of the bottom of the boat, this should not be the case.
It's happened in survival, but show this bug in creative.
