I Can't join 1.6.1 or 1.6.2 servers

I thought i wa going to be able to play Minecraft servers

I couldnt play any Minecraft servers on 1.6.1 and above

1. Open the launcher
2. Start the game
3. Open the multiplayer
4.No servers would work
