Connection Lost Internal Exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Everytime I log into minecraft, I join my friends server, using hamachi. It works fine for a few minutes or so, and then suddenly I get the message "Connection Lost Internal Exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out"
