Head direction keeps flicking down after movement in any other direction

This is a recent issue, as I was having no trouble looking about normally the first couple times I played. Regardless of what server I am on, if I begin to look in any direction by rotating my head the perspective will snap back to looking directly at my avatar's feet. This makes it extremely difficult to play, as I can't turn my view to any direction without almost immediately being brought back to look at my feet. This happens regardless of if I use my mouse or touchpad. Additionally, I have tried both completely restarting my computer, and uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft and its launcher. I don't know why, and any help would be appreciated.
