/tick freeze and unfreeze not working in datapack function

What I expected to happen was...:
i thought it would freeze the tick

What actually happened was...:
gave me an error message saying this is not a command

Steps to Reproduce:
make a data pack

make a function

put tick freeze or unfreeze in it

open game output

load into game and look at error
