random blocks everywhere + glitchy camera

after updating to 1.20 (the day 1.20 was released) , random blocks were placed everywhere and i cannot move without my camera glitching. My friend wasnt affected by the bug.  i thought it was because my laptop couldnt handle it but the bug doesnt reproduce when join  another server

What I expected to happen was...:
moving normally and being able to control my camera, and my world looking like how it was before updating

What actually happened was...:
my camera started glitching when i move and random blocks were placed everywhere

1. update to 1.20
2. join the server
