Can't place blocks

I was playing version 23w13a_or_b with someone else and the game wouldn't let me vote and then soon after I couldn't place blocks. Then I switched to version 23w45a and I was still with that someone else. After i tried to place my new crafting table it didn't let me. The person who i was playing with could place blocks just fine, I tried using their crafting table but I couldn't. With that I left and joined the server hypixel, found a free build map in housing and I still couldn't place blocks. (Everything before this message happened on 11/15/2023) Then today I went into single player, and still couldn't place blocks.
