Get Wax On/Wax Off without waxing

RIght-clicking on copper doors with an axe or honeycomb in your hand gives you the Wax On/Wax Off achievement without actually applying or removing wax from the door. I assume this issue extends to copper trapdoors as well but I am not 100% sure.
