/tick doesn't work in command blocks

You can't use /tick command in a command block, I heard it is a permission issue but I think it would be great if it was fixed as it would open even more possibilities, I hope it will be fixed in the next snapshot as I would like to have fun with the command and I don't think I'm alone. If you agree please vote so it gets fixed.
