Crafter slots desync when items flow in quickly

3 hoppers are hooked up to the Crafter, and I go into the crafter and attempt to disable slots using shift + left click. Sometimes, the slots disable and are fine. Other times, the slot will appear disabled, but will appear become enabled again randomly. Video attached.

Steps to reproduce:
Hook up a few hoppers to a crafter, filled with items.
Use shift+left click to attempt to remove items and disable item slot.
Watch as sometimes, the slot will appear disabled but then be enabled and pull items.
